Azure Kingfisher

These brightly coloured Kingfishers live predominantly in coastal regions of Australia.
We have 10 species native to Australia, including the kookaburra, which is the largest. Kingfishers nest in tree hollows, in burrows in riverbanks and sometimes in termite nests..

28 x 38 cm (A3 sized) and inspired by life in the Australian bush painted in a loose watercolour style.

A one-off original artwork, using rich watercolours on archival quality 640gsm watercolour paper.

Reference photos were taken by me in the Northern Territory.

All artworks are individually signed, packaged with a foam board and wrapped in a sleeve for protection. Framing is not included however, standard sized frames are available for purchase from a number of quality outlets.
